Transience HUD mockup
Transience HUD mockupThe HUD design is my own, the background is an early build of Transience. (www.playtransience.com)There were a few requirements for this mockup.1.) 3 bars: visibility, armor, and slow motion. 2.) equipped weapon icon/ammo count (in-mag + reserves)3.) objective pop-upAs far as style, the HUD needed to fit within the grounded near-future setting and also maintain a relatively low profile to maintain the ‘tactical’ feel. It also needed to cohere as an element of the main character’s stealth suit and maintain readability and style cohesion when the character equips night vision goggles.

This process refactored the weapons within the American populace to utilize the same attachment system with minimal performance alteration.
